After the rain cleared away last evening there was variable cloud overnight with a clearance reaching the area just before dawn. At observation, sunny, breezy. The day stayed bright with sunny spells, breezy, though much warmer than of late. By late afternoon a few showers broke out in the area, though this station only had a few spots of rain. The evening saw high cloud advancing from the NE and the NE wind increase to strong.

Rain, heavy at times, became showery by mid-morning and cleared altogether by lunchtime. Dry with sunny intervals in the afternoon, feeling quite humid at first just after the rain stopped. Maximum 16.1, minimum 11.0. Wind light SW.

Overcast and cool with a brisk NE wind. The morning was largely dry once the early morning light rain cleared around 0900 g.m.t but there was a spell of moderate rain during mid-afternoon followed by thick hill fog and persistent drizzle.
