There's some extremely heavy rain currently off the coast of Devon that's heading straight for us, so if anywhere is likely to see storms tonight it's here. I'd love to say I'm excited for tonight but we got badly flooded during a similar setup in June 2009. I'm a little worried by the intensity of the PPN that's heading towards us.

watched bbc news 2 night we could be in for wild day or2

HIRLAM has some very heavy rain forecast from the MCS that is expected to form tomorrow afternoon in N France.

That shows up on the MetO model also!

If that comes off it could be an awesome evening tomorrow!!!

Had some large convective drops of rain here just now, the sky looked very rippled. It's what i would associate some good action with.

Looking very stormy to the south, and very dark to the west of here, looks slow moving to, temp has notably dropped a bit from earlier, hoping to get something later, good luck all : )

Persistent heavy rain now, and heard what must have been a rumble when next to a open window!

Exeter looks to be in the firing line shortly for something Thundery!

Hey folks! Popping my head round the door from the TIA Project and MWUK to show you a few pics from around 8pm this evening. We were treated to some yummy Undulatus Asperatus in Yeovil, Somerset just before our first rain band rocked through. Hope everyone down the South West gets a stormy sleepless night!

Cheers guys

Ray
