Those are big straws....more like planks of wood from where I'm sitting laugh.png

Desperate times etc. It looks like there are major storms to our east in the North Sea, so near but yet so far!

Looking a little bit good for Norwich. Very muggy, very grey and the sun has made an appearance so that's good for convection I'm guessing. smile.png Plus some rather big grey clouds over SW.

If you've got sunshine, then you have hope, even if it's getting a little late.

I think Keraunophile needs to do some storm chasing now. Exit Norwich, hammer down the A47...blum.gif

Looks like an interesting cell developing to the west of Norwich. Soon to hit Swaffham.

Ooh I wish. If I had a car I'd be off chasing those storms (when we get em of course) :)

I don't think all hope is yet lost for Norwich, even if the odds are against..

Yes, it looks like near Hunstanton is the place to be at the moment.

Sun out now here too...fingers crossed!

Same here! Lots of little echoes popping up in NWFrance and in the Channel...hopefully they'll head our way :-)

You must be quite close to a heavy shower at the moment? Not sure there's much thunder though?

Dont peak too soon biggrin.png Three rumbles, some lovely structure and now it's all vaguely MCS like. Honestly, one feels like scrapping Norfolk's storm performance bonus, this is becoming standard practice lazy.gif

EDIT: Husband just got back home, says coming through Watton the road was like a river, also saw some CGs. These were obviously responsible for the three muted rumbles nonono.gif

Some interesting clouds over to the SW of me. Or is it wishful thinking. Straw clutching time me thinks.

incredible aint it the bloody Channel kills storms , yet the North sea (which is a cooler sea) has no problem sustaining storms
