by 08.30 with warm sunny spells since then, however these are increasingly hazy due to Cirrus.

Thick fog cleared by 0800, then mix of cloud and sunny spells, hazy. Warm. Light to moderate mainly southerly breeze, with a NW sea breeze from time to time this afternoon.

Plenty of cloud about today but thin with a little sunshine but nothing in comparison to yesterday. About 17C at best. A mild evening. No sign of the 'sizzling weather' here!

Finally after 4 1/2 days the featureless grey tripe cleared away to leave a very pleasant sunny evening. Pity it only looks like being a brief respite.

Temperatures around 15C till 8pm but because of all the cloud during the day yet another below average max of 15.6C was recorded. Sunshine: 4.3 hrs.
