A weak Thunderstorm this morning and a shorter more vigorous Thundery shower this afternoon. Now sunny and warm.

After a dry but cloudy start to the morning thunderstorms arrived from the south west, the first thunder heard at 0905 g.m.t and the main area of the storm arriving by 0925 g.m.t and lasting until about 1025 g.m.t. The rain was generally heavy, and torrential for short periods with frequent lightning and almost continuous thunder.

Further heavy showers followed early this afternoon, also accompanied by thunder and hail was reported about 10 miles north of here. All the activity cleared away to the north by 1330 g.m.t, the cloud began to disperse by 1500 g.m.t and the early evening has ended up clear and sunny.

Cloudy with drizzle this morning, brightened up massively and warm without many clouds in the sky for much of the afternoon.

Dry, breezy and very warm with sunny spells, the best of these in the afternoon. Currently clear, feeling much less humid than earlier, 16.5 deg C, wind moderate SW. Today's maximum 26.7, last night's minimum 16.6.
