Can everyone in the south get a magnet out and point it towards the French coast please?

I'm still a little optimistic. It's so HOT here in Ipswich. Been a good day for others though. Lucky so and so's ;D

Some reasonable cumulus building to my N / NW now. Maybe a case of too little, too late though?

Knew today would be a bust, glad I never believed the hypebiggrin.png. Been cloudy most of the day here but it pleasantly humid so it doesn't bother me much at all.

Yes, but it was all very close to not being a bust.

For instance there's a load of T&L currently in the Wash, just off Hunstanton in Norfolk, which is part of this area.

And there was a met office weather warning for Norfolk and other parts of our area, just so frustrating! Is sweltering here, hope tonight is cooler!

Think I'll disappear down the pub now. I love these warm evenings especially for that purpose!drinks.gif

Off to Hyde park now for drinks then onto central for dinner. Couldn't think of a better evening to fall on. Temp reached 29c in NE London today so its a possibility somewhere could have reached higher.

This is just my preference but I'm so happy no storms came to my area today! What a waste of one day of summer sunshine if you ask me, looking at news the Midlands suffered terribly with what was like mid west style storms. I have just brought a new car and I would have been devastated if it got damaged by that hail.

Instead London gets hot sunshine all day and no rain - My kind of weather. Just can't beat it.

Also all the ladies I'm sure will be looking good in London tonight with the humid weather if you know what I mean ;-)

Very slim chance of any thunderstorms breaking out this evening over London so I'm very happy.

Such a shame the heat and humidity is going to waste! Would've loved a good storm..

Yes, I do think we've had a reasonable consolation of a hot day though. About time really.

Anyway it's still only June. I reckon August is the best time for storms.(normally unsure.png)

I think we should call it Hyde Park and send it straight there, dropping some storms on it's way through of course!

yes, or rather they missed us !

I wouldn't mind but I actually need to go to Leicester to one of my suppliers but couldn't get there today as I had appointments booked, rather frustrating actually as I could have put the fuel bill down on my expenses nea.gif

Aww - I think it's pretty save to say I can't post anything right- unless I'm bouncing up and down wishing for one clap of thunder.

Just arrived to the park and it's glorious.

Summer is here... At least for the next 6hrs.. Lol
