...it was a bit squidgy underfoot in places but what an amazing evening it has been !

Glad you could make it. Those showers were slow moving yesterday, so I did wonder earlier.smile.png

My point was,THAT as the Jet is now climbing it will create dragg,The Jet Stream has been stuck in stale mate POSITION above us, All the high pressure it has absorbed ,Spills straight down on the lovely green UK. Also as the Jet really doe's not leave the UK--any Humidity behind mixes with-in the drag.Cant beat a good bit of moisture,As i said (IT BEGINS TOMORROW). Watch the pressure charts.?

I don't really understand what you're saying, unless it's something like that we haven't had a hot spell for a while and due to the current damp weather, it'll be humid and thundery?

It looks like we could have something thundery in a few days, but imho, nothing in the very short term.

Morning each. Nice day here in Ippy. The sun is out, the sky is blue with some fluffy clouds. Hope you all have a good week end whatever you do. :D

Well, according to the lightning detector there has been one lightning strike just NE of Ipswich. Very odd as there is no rain or anything on the radar. Bolt from the blue perhaps? :)

Afternoon all, Not a bad day at all,I think nearly every garden along my road is having a BBQ ,Smog city,Making me well hungry though. I find it amusing that if you lit a fire the neighbours would go nuts,With there washing out, But lighting a BBQ has no response at all.fool.gif

Thanks MK, we have arrived in North Pembrokeshire to warm sun. Highly unusual! Less unusual was the fabulous fish and chips x 5 that we have just had. My birthday is a week or so away, by which time it looks like the weather may have turned around (as per Dylan Thomas).

Blimey K, that's taken me back a few decades - Nicholas Parsons, Sale of the Century, £1 questions rising through £2 to the dizzy hegihts of a max of £5. The jaunty organ played as the 'bargains' were described and (close your eyes modern folk) adorned by ladies in 70s flowing dresses or swimwear!

Nostalgia certainly isn't what it used to be.....

And the said ladies would lovingly caress the, ahem, fabulous prizes. :o And it all started with the Anglian knight on his charger. Aww, bless. :)

Pretty dead in here, the south-east thread is notorious for being popular and full of people but the same people have descended into the darkness, come back!!
