A spectacular day here with no wind and lots of sunshine and blue skies and temperatures nearing 20C too. August may be a changeable month but every year it seems to bring at least some good summer weather without fail whereas July and June can be disapointing.

Dull most of the day with lots of drizzle. Skies now a little more broken in Bridgwater and rain has stopped. Some of my colleagues are complaining about 'closeness' but I don't feel it myself. About 16C.

Mainly cloudy but feeling quite warm/humid today with any brighter patches pushing the air temp up to 21C with a dew point of 18C. Although an average max it was feeling like a summer airmass that's for sure even with the cloud and patchy rain/drizzle this morning.
