yes the low St predicted for this morning arrived sometime after 0500, so a dull and overcast start to this morning, a low of 11.8C (identical to yesterday) and T=14.8C now thanks to the St; this time yesterday it was 18.4C

Bleugh North Sea low cloud... not seen too much of it this year gladly but here it is this morning. Sun keeps trying to poke through but having a hard time so far. Just got back from walking Chesney our Norwich Terrier.Was out at 7,15 it was a bit cool then .But it soon warmed up and it got quiet warm by the time I got back.

Mist arrived around 2am last night, overnight low was 14.3c in the end with a very dark and grey start to the day but the mist has burnt away now with hazy sunshine, emphasis on the haze as the high cloud is rather thick! currently 18.5c

A much lower minimum temperature than forecast last night, dropping to 10.1C under clear skies.

It has been mostly cloudy since sunrise with bright spells, reaching a maximum of 18.9C so far. The wind today is more of a south-easterly and stronger than yesterday.

Rather disappointing day today. Was relying on the sun coming out but very very hazy, almost cloudy with a fresh to cool southeasterly wind. Not impressed!

Hmm, that cloud over the North Sea does look strange. It looks like a wodge of flock. And not a cloud here in Ipswich, but I do think clear blue sky is pretty boring.

I managed 25.0C in spite of quite a lot of cloud, mostly Sc variants, some small Cu once the St of the early morning had burnt off. So the 4th consecutive day of 25.0C or more.
