A few miles further West is the place to be (but not to many wrinklies please)

After a lull for an hour this morning (and a few minutes of actual sunshine) it has just started to pour down again. Still could be worse, could be this time tomorrow.....

I don't have wrinkles and I'm certainly not allowing them anywhere near me when I retire. :p

Still a beautiful Autumn morning here. Took pup for a walk and it's lovely and sunny, about 14c with a nice breeze.

It is an odd day with bursts of intense rain and then gorgeous sunshine as at present. Looks like this could be around for another 2 days at least and then hopefully a quieter period.

Good Morning, lovely start today, though that wind is fresh. Walking earlier in the sheltered areas the sun felt warm. Showers expected later, before more rain overnight.

Right on the edge of those showers..Can see the cloud scapes from the windows..I always feel showers are worse than frontal or system rain because so so much rain can drop from one shower in a short space of time...

As the wind moves around these showers will deffo move inland and I guess will be bubbling up all day..Before the rain that effected us 24 hours ago comes back around again..

Had an amazing morning here! Blue Skies, lots of huge CBs, rain, rainbows, sunshine...all at once! Its really dark now though and raining. Hoping for some thunder later to top the day off :)

Well thats the heaviestfor a couple of months, temp 16 down to 9 in that storm. ALOT of rain just fell in 5 mins, and pea sized HAIL too, no thunder tho.

It may not be any worse/better than today. I can't see anything on the forecasts or charts to suggest big stuff apart from the Met O amber warnings etc. Maybe I am looking too close to home? Lets hope it doesn't get too flooded if it does pour down again all night and into tomorrow, I would just like more thunderstorms please.clapping.gif

......although I did get pretty wet earlier, but it was intentional as I was in a swimming pool and jacuzzi hot tub!

Been an odd old day with periodic sunshine and intense showers spanning just a few minutes. Unfortunately the sun has been while I've been in the office and the intense showers were when I tried to go out!
