Getting hammered here in Ashford, Kent..... Booming thunder accompanying CG lightening. Running the satellite sequence we seem to be stuck in a streamer !No sleep if this carries on. Almost continuous torrential rain as well. good.gif

Really nice storms just passed over 15-25mins ago, torrential rain and best lightening/thunder all year, even if it was reasonably brief. Looks like we could be in for a good night if the channel keeps brewing these sexy beasts and throwing them at us.

The wind is going to turn more on shore over night so where you are looking needs to move anti-clock wise if that makes any sense to north france "ish"

I think thats right.

I wonder what that lot will do

What is coming in from the west

Credit to estofex who predicted

Storms tonight

Archiesmummy you moved. Hahaha

And Netweather..

http://www.netweathe...onvective;sess=

Heavy downpours, hail and squally winds may accompany showers/storms - with a risk of localised flooding. Increasing low-level shear across the SE this afternoon means an isolateed tornado can't be ruled out too. Showers and storms will likely continue across these areas overnight.
