It's been a beautiful day here. It's that lovely gentle warmth of autumn and quite unlike the harsher heat of high summer. All golden and soft and when I long to be at Scarborough or some other part of the coast. Or beside any water really; stream, river, pond, lake. :D

Looks like we will get another nice day tomorow! it's not sure how far in that rain comes next week, and i think something thundery where it does arrive.. most likely in Southwest England.

I think monday pm will see a bout of heavy rain. But the very heavy stuff will probably stay to our south. Although radar watching will be the only reliable prediction

4.8C here at the moment, lowest temperature at 9pm since probably April.

Good morning,

No frost here but quite a chilly night, temperature fell below 5 °C but is currently 5.4 °C with no wind whatsoever and a slightly misty damp feel to the air, very autumnal indeed.

Mornin each. Well, when you're up ealy with the nipper you get to see this.

Ipswich docks about ten minutes ago. Nice morning here but a bit chilly. Don't think we had any frost last night.

Morning all. Puppy woke me up at 7:15 this morning. My weather station says it fell to 2.3c here last night. Not sure how accurate that is if other's didn't get that low. Currently showing 4.7c. Have a misty feel to the air here too and everything is very still.

Morning ladies, and the same to you all - I hope you have a lovely time archiesmummy, it will certainly feel nippy when you get back !

I've just got in from my first big walkies of the day, it's still a bit misty here but the temperature has risen to 7.2 °C and I think given another hour or so it won't be too bad a day but I was certainly glad I was wearing a warm fleece jacket and I'm enjoying a nice coffee to warm me up.

Just got back from the dull and monotonous chore of supermarket work, will be glad to be at Uni next year. There are a lot of people out there who are disgusting and rude, it's no wonder supermarkets get complaints about unhappy and miserable staff. We are told to smile at all times, but it's hard when the customer before can insult you personally, that's not worth £6 an hour.

Yes, driving through fog has never bothered me, but heavy rain........the wipers on my 1975 VW Beetle used to grind to a halt during torrential down pours-and it put me off. (Driving in rain) :o
