A fair start to the day with rather a lot of developing convective cloud under a veil of cirrostratus making things overcast looking. Dry though and mild with 10C the temperature at the moment in a light SSW wind.

No figures, but I am pretty sure it is raining heavily here in Plymouth as I am fairly wet from a quick walk to the shop.

Early morning fog cleared by 0830 g.m.t to leave a dry morning with sunny intervals or longer spells of hazy sunshine, the latter due to a persistent area of Cs in the southern half of the sky whilst the northern half was almost completely clear. The Cs moved away by about midday and there were sunny intervals but Cu developed quite quickly to bring one or two short light showers around 1300 g.m.t. The rest of the afternoon was dry with short sunny intervals but more showers arrived by 1730 g.m.t.
