Slightly OT, but are there any online videos of the BBC weather forecasts before and during the February 18th/19th 1978 blizzard in the south west and south Wales? I can't seem to find any on YouTube, no doubt due to VCRs not being as common in households then.

Ta.

I'm not liking the look of that, by the time March gets here I'm longing for a bit of warmth and sunshine.

I'll be longing for cold and snow for as long as it is entirely possible and realistically can happen, so that is until April.. so that chart looks lovely.

I'll take a three month freeze starting from December, but come March I'm with you I'm looking for some warmth by then.

When you work outside all year round like I do, cold and snow loses it's appeal after a few weeks. I've got an enormous wedding to plan and plant a garden for, could really do without a late, cold Spring. Snow and cold limited to the end of Feb at the latest is what I'm praying for, although I know I'll be in the minority looking for that kind of weather.

If the snow comes this year, let's not muck about with 2 hours of the stuff then a slow thaw, we want it large!!
