That has just happened in the last 5 minutes here in Pudsey.

Was sat out on the patio in warm sunshine and could see mist drifting over from the city and now I am inside and cold..!

A lovely clear and sunny day with just a light NE drift until about 1500 when the airport and surrounding area was invaded by whats best described as 'Scooby Doo' type fog! It must have been very annoying for the aircraft holding overhead in clear blue sky when the airport was reporting visibility down to 175mts at one point. At least one Jet2 diverted.

Its still foggy now but very patchy, with the moon visible from time to time.
