one of my favourite London ones is the Chelsea tile co webcam, it was also the best view of the start of the jubilee pageant because it didn;t keep going over to someone baking a cake in hyde park or claire balding screaming at an umbrella

Would be nice if there was a direct access to a web page to webcams from Netweathers Home page that were searchable. I am sure a lot of people would refer to it.

Agree as this thread keeps coming back, and we have done it many times before, having a central place would benefit.

    ONLY problem being......

It'll go out of date so who then keeps it up to date?

Be nice if someone tried as it seems there are so many posts now with webcam links that just seem to get lost.

Anyone got any streaming ones, like actual footage instead of 'updated every 10 seconds' ones?

The earthcam ones are great but the majority of them are snow free.

About 50 or so Australian Weather Cams on this site:

    http://webcams.bsch.au.com/index.html

Most of them are in Southeastern Queensland, but there are some here in Northern NSW (Bonny Hills, Tamworth, Lismore, Newcastle, Murrurundi), a couple in Darwin, one near Sydney, and another in Adelaide. The nearest camera to me is at Bonny Hills, and it is in my signature.

There are two live streams on that site from Redcliffe and Surfers Paradise in SE Queensland.

There are about 75 live streaming cameras at http://www.coastalwa...raOverview.aspx

Most of them are in Queensland and New South Wales. I have the live cam here at South West Rocks in my signature as well (although it seems to be down at present).

Good link for Newfoundland webcams (if anyone is interested!), the whole island looks like it's had snow.

Mind, the St Johns ones are blanketed in fog half the time lol

Here's a link to the webcam installed on the International Space Station. It's not always active, but when it is, it's quite amazing to watch. The ISS has just passed over equatorial Africa, and you could clearly see lightning flashing away 250 miles below.

    http://www.ustream.tv/channel/live-iss-stream

And here's where to go to find where the ISS currently is, in relation to earth:

Glad to see a thread like this here, love checking out webcams from around the world, mainly when they are forecast severe weather so I am often checking up forecasts for the areas, but they are still fun to check out at any time. I have live streams bookmarked from 35 different countries to be exact!

These guys are good for all the main Caribbean (and some US) ports. Good if you like Cruise Ship spotting and also often have some fab storms. Watched the Bermuda storm hit on that webcam.

Also Akumal and Tulum webcams in Mexico.

Often can see some good storms on those too.

Stelvio looks to have shut up shop for the winter.
They had about a foot of snow a couple of weeks ago which thawed slowly, but there were a few cars about until today when heavy snow has arrived again.

    http://www.solda2000.com/webstelvioen.htm

Another nice cam with good picture (when not snowy or foggy or dark is at Silvretta Dam on the Austria/Switzerland border.
Have a soft spot for this one having visited and walked across the dam and beyond a few times.
    - Currently stuck but they will be on it as I think it's in a big hotel -

    • Wet March so far with more rain for the rest of the month, but hints of more settled weather early April

It's been a wet March for much of the UK, with well above average rainfall, though the Northern & Western Isles have been drier than average. Despite a colder drier respite on Monday, staying generally unsettled to see out the rest of the month. But hints of some drier weather in early April. Read the full update here
