A little better this morning. The cloud is breaking up and I can see blue sky!. Still mild.

Steadily becoming more cloudy & breezy after a pretty calm bright and sunny start to the day.

Some interest for western areas of Northern England late on Sunday and into Monday with the risk of severe gales, the exact track is still undecided, NMM & NAE will be in range tonight so we'll see what the high res models make of this potential.

Daylight is fading fast with little over an hour untill sunset, a very grey afternoon as cloud spills over ahead of the front to the north & west. Currently 9c, chiily with a light SE breeze.

5.4c with light rain, dull and overcast. Some pretty heavy rain last night, was listening to it in bed.

A few residual showers this morning after the overnight rain, steadily brightening up with the odd glimpse of sunshine poking through the clouds. Feeling very chilly in the breeze, 7.3c atm....

Brightened up well now but feels colder than when i got up temp still 7c though.

Light rain most of the night but suddenly cleared out soon after 10am

7.6C at the moment and will soon be heading down rapidly so a frost is likely.

It does feel very cold today, a stiff westerly wind and temps are stuck between 7-8c, upper air temps around -2/-3c @ 850hpa

Unless the wind drops off up here then the only frost will be in the sheltered locations, frost has been virtually non existant so far this season....

Chilly autumnal day today, it was fairly sunny through morning and there's still ground frost in the shade but a layer of high cloud has spread over. 5.3C at the moment.

It's been a beautiful day here today, so beautiful I went for a stroll on the Pennines. Masses of walkers, blue skies, crisp, cold, certainly was a great day!

3.4C at present after a very nice, if chilly, day. Expecting temps to start picking up soon as the rain edges ever closer. Looking forward to tomorrow as put my new replacement weather station up last weekend and tomorrow should be the first proper blow for it to deal with.

I think it has rained all night here in West Cumbria. Today I am in Harrington and its still raining - windy to.

Very windy overnight and this morning with gusts to 43mph.

Some quite heavy rain about 2am rattled on the windows and gave 3mm.

Feels cold in the wind but creeping up slowly - just hit 7C.

Grrrr feels chilly in the wind and had trouble whilst out with the wind blowing me back and taking my breath.

A couple of slates moved on houses across the st.

But have seen worse winds.

Misty, dull, damp start but good news Durham County council has its road side AWS online with webcams.

Hopefully make good viewing this winter.
