My gloves now and again, but I hate being bundled up in scarves and hats and all that. I get too hot. Us Northeners are a hardy bunch!!:D

Yes I have and I've worn my thermal vest and socks a few times already but then I've been to quite a few outdoor events recently that have meant standing around in the cold.

On a normal everyday basis so far I haven't felt the need to wear them......but then it's not winter yet cold.gif

I don't own a scarf (or a hat apart from my lightweight forage cap used to keep my scalp from getting sunburnt when walking in summer). And gloves are for snow.

So, er, no .....

It's been really cold lately and I'm wondering what you think this winter will turn out to be?

I've had my gloves on a few times in the last couple of weeks but it hasn't been that cold really, so at the moment they are not items I think about much as part of my day to day wardrobe. :D

For cycling yes definitely (anything below 8c the hands freeze) but otherwise no (that's what pockets are for!).

Scarf - never wear one.

Been in the winter coat this week as the lighter fleece is no good below 5c. Probably back on the lighter one tomorrow as the winter coat is too warm above 7c once you get going.

Gloves, I only use those when washing up.

Scarf, I thought that was an ultra wide dog lead.

Needless to say I live in the south of the UK, where such things are a rarity

Still walking to catch the bus in shirt sleeves, might find a coat if it gets cold, i.e. sub -3C

Oh Dorsetbred you must be young! Today I wore my hat, scarf and thick coat - I needed it at 9.00am walking on the frost covered grass at Badbury Rings :)

I don't wear scarf/hat/gloves etc.

Not even on the coldest of days do I wear those. I love feeling the bitter cold against my skin.

What a strange thread lol, and no I haven't put anything like that on, being young the cold doesn't tend to bite you so hard.

Are you that naked rambler guy? ;)

No gloves for me yet... That will come soon no doubt. I only really wear a hat if it snows!

Scarf has been on... Need to buy a new hat.

long johns are still packed away for now.

in sleeping terms, put the brushed cotton sheet on last week to keep out the draughts. Probably the best thing I bought considering I'm in a draughty Victorian house with external walls on two sides and a massive bay window.

I haven't used them yet, no. Even on cold, frosty mornings, I haven't used them.

Dubai Floods: Another Warning Sign for Desert Regions?

The flooding in the Middle East desert city of Dubai earlier in the week followed record-breaking rainfall.
