The sun is shining here Coast, albeit briefly. That is the warmest it has felt for a while outside since September, i actually quite liked it smile.png

LOvely sunny day,thought it would milder than this?i still feel abit chilly.

Not a gloves and hat job but certainly a coat.

Hope it stays dry,but as usual it starting raining yesterday in time for the pm school run!

So it will prob be the same today.

At the moment its a nice day.good.gif

I really hate this weather, Marie. Give me a few days of bright sunshine - good garden drying weather if we can't have cold.

Hate these early night during November when it's mild and mucky. Early night with cold and snow is a lot more bearable, in fact it gets quite cosy.

Certainly with alot of the model output recently starting to become boring for us 'coldies' searching for cold... Tonight has just gave hope and a few smiles. I love seeing these synoptics showing up, but just as likely to go again on the 00z..

A handy site for fairly detailed gazing. It claimed we reached 17 degrees centigrade at Blackmore near Brentwood today.

Evening everyone.

Reached 14.8c today here in Epping. The sun was beaming from 11:30am but clouded over big time by 2pm.

Just had a very quick nose over on the Mod thread - I know I shouldn't.

Same old really, plenty of opinions and disagreements with one another.

Any cold charts today look to be at +240hrs - funny that - last Tuesday we were being told to look at +240hrs as well.

It will be the +240hr chart come December as well.... HA HA :-/

Morning all.

Morning Steve, morning folks!

A blanket of cloud has helped make things very mild again today although there was a small chink of sun in my rear view mirror this morning, so fingers crossed for later.

In the morning gloom I could just see the amazing colours of the Autumn leaves and they are gorgeous this year. Unfortunately it was too dark to get any pictures, so I must get out at the weekend and capture a few scenes.

The layer of cloud looks pretty thin to me. The sort of cloud that summer sun would finish off in 15 minutes. I'm hoping it'll clear here to a degree, at some point today.
