Correct. Optimists all here.biggrin.png

I agree with Coast, the leaves seem at their optimum time for photos now to me.

Oh I'm always a glass half full girl (usually because I've drank the first half laugh.png )

I'm going out this morning I don't think there will be much to see on the A421 but if time allows I will come back the pretty way, Harvey will get muddy but as a bird has kindly covered him in a rather large present this morning he needs a bath anyway !

I hope you don't call him Harvey, due to him having an affinity with walls? tongue.png

Am I right in thinking they are a lot later turning this year? I'm not reading anything into that regarding the upcoming season, just wondering if it has anything to do with all the rain preceding it?

I don't know for sure, but my thoughts are wet weather, particularly in April - I think if April had been dry then leaves wouldn't have been anywhere so good. I also think that the lack of an autumn gale has obviously helped too.smile.png

Sun's out now and it would be ideal for photographing those Autumnal colours with it beaming through the branches. Pity I'm stuck at work today :(

I can't wait for our meal biggrin.pngsmiliz39.gif

You can eat before then!

Cloudy and low cloud here NBLSB. Just a few miles west of you. Still mild here. Light winds too. Hopefully sunshine will pop through soon.

The sun is now out. Thick cloud west of here, but a yellow thing has appeared and is showing its worth again!

Offf topic, but I went in a hot air balloon for the first time about 4 weeks ago, it was a flight over the Masai Mara in Kenya, loved it.

A real cracker out here at lunchtime and the constitutional ride on the bike was most enjoyable. Not quite the extreme colours around our Industrial Estate as further into the countryside, but the glorious blue sky was a lovely back drop to the Autumn sun:

The contrails were stunning, criss-crossing the sky.

Sorry for the quality, they were done on the phone

Amazing sunny day. Couldn't ask for better.

Just been over Epping forest with the dogs, actually had to take my jacket off, was warming up good and proper.

Wish everyday of winter was like this in between snow events... Hehe :-)

Agreed, went out with my camera to a local village for some photos (and had the odd suspicious stare...)

Now that lunch is over it looks like low cloud is forming here again, so maybe I timed it well.
