Apologies to those of you who had some problems getting on the forum for around 15 minutes last night, one of the servers had a hardware problem so if you were unlucky enough to be allocated that server when you accessed the forum you'll have been affected by it.

Usually our load balancer which allocates the servers would pick up that a server was struggling and re-allocate everyone on it to another one, but because of a strange way the server failed last night it still looked like it was healthy when the load balancer was checking it. Once we realised what was happening we totally closed off the server so the re-allocation took place properly.

We've made some changes to the way the health checks work on the system this morning though, so that problem shouldn't occur again smile.png
