Hi Paul and Team.

I was just going through the GFS ENS for Dorset for today 06z run since i was around to look at it earlier. However i was surprised when the ops line was -6 to -7 for the 850's from the 11th onwards as it wasnt what i remembered from the actual ops run. I've done a but of a comparison and tbh its way out at times, not just a 1 or 2 C but upto 5-6C in places.

I know that its difficult to get it right and appreciate that these are free charts etc, but just thought you should know, I don't know whether dorset has mapped to the wrong co-ordinates etc.

Cheers

Ice

This might help, the ens ops is at -7, but the actual charts show it around 0.

Looking a bit more its the same for somerset.... so it might be a bigger problem as its way out.

You're correct it doesn't look right, I think it is likely to be a co-ordinate thing at the point the GFS run goes from 0.5 to 2.5 degrees, I'll raise it as a bug and I'm sure itll be sorted early next week.
