    Sleet and a little light, wet snow yesterday evening, clearing before midnight. Remaining mostly cloudy until early morning when the cloud cleared following a light shower of grain snow.

    Currently dry cold and sunny with the tops of Cbs visible on the eastern horizon.

    No precip in this area earlier but the front brought a very dull start, however an increasing NNW wind around 09.00 chased the cloud away, increased the cold feel and it's now a sunny, cold day.

    Clear, cloudless sky, just above freezing, no wind. Snow cover intact, hard frost overnight. Windscreen scraping took more graft than yesterday.

    Find that severity of windscreen scraping correlates well to how baltic it is !

    Pavements and roads prior to getting onto main roads are all ice rinks.

    Clear spells with a slight frost last night.

    Sunny periods to early afternoon, just the one very brief rain shower 1300. Shower clouds passing to the west blotted out the sun after 1500. Moderate NW breeze.
