    Variable cloud overnight with a few showers blowing in from the west. The temperature was up and down throughout the night, low was 2.1c with –2.0c on the grass. At observation, broken cloud, ground frost.

    Thick fog for most of the night, and light-moderate showers. The fog gradually lifted after dawn but did not clear completely until 0930.

    A shower of sleet as I type with a temp' of 2.8c.

    Sunny to 1100, then rather cloudy, some showers, sunny intervals after 1500. Moderate SW breeze.
