We've all been here before with the failed easterly early in December, but if this comes off we need to start thinking about what we could do with all the snow….

Maybe we could do something on Dunstable downs to go with the lion.

highs 10-12 degrees

very light south westerly flow

possibility of some light showers late afternoon

some showers around anglia and far south east

around 8 degrees and possible misty conditions

monday looks dry and possible sunny spells

slightly more breeze on a south westerly flow

looks mainly dry but slim chance of late afternoon showers

Yes, we were discussing the 12th just the other day; could be a pivotal day of winter? There's so many fantastic charts on offer today, but I'm going to throw these ones for 13 January into the mix as a starter for 10!

If this verifies, could be fairly snowy for our region!

Lol, you know that Buntingford was in the news as having the deepest snowfall on 5th February 2012.

"At 0900 on the 5th a snow depth of 16 cm was measured at Malham Tarn (North Yorkshire) and Buntingford (Hertfordshire)"

Lol, Perfect Storm, it even made the newspapers (well local Hertfordshire newspaper) and put Buntingford on the map (well it did in East Hertfordshire....).

Funny thing is we had heavier snowfall a couple of years previous, I measured over 20cm (think it was back in either 2009 or 2010).

And as he's at 10 metres higher elevation, he'll probably nick more of your snow too.

Well the top of my house is 10 metres higher (its a tall house).....

Didn't know it reached the local papers...I feel kind of famous! Don't remember 20cm falling in those years, must be the December 18th 2010 event? That dumped quite a bit!
