That area of precip above the wash is really building quickly surely that has our name written all over it, when the winds swing nne as the low moves south

    rochester looks a white out

Not yet, and curiously, the precip seems to be accelerating through ... damn it. Need it to stall for a little while

really heavy (wet) snow here now temp 0.6 DP 0.5 trying to settle... but i just cant make it happen.... Cest la vie

    Hi Paul

I reckon my WS is 0.5 Deg too warm on DPs: sez 1.4

    temp: 1.5

Actually it might be a bit on the high side on both!

Just a touch too wet to settle properly - a lot of it is going to waste, just abt stickin too grass and cars over hr in Kennington

You know it's starting to settle when it slowly begins getting lighter outside!

Didnt even get 1cm here, it didnt even settle on the ground, just the cars, and was gone pretty quickly by morning

Ditto - none on the pavement; the 1cm was taken from the lid of the recycling bin! Was handsome all the same.

Few flakes outside now - that'll be the first and last of it this evening.

Nah no points scoring from me and the boys on here, if we get it wrong we hold our hands up, more often than not though you guys are in pretty decent company be it winter storms, or convective storms in the Summer.

Oh and I was joking earlier when I said I could not read a radar rofl.gif I think my daughter could tell the band was going to head South!

I'd expect those band of showers continue heading a short way into land and into East Midlands. Dying away as they do so. B.W

Its not really doing much here in Sarfend. Snowing light to mod but small flakes. 1cm coverage, but losing it on the roads now. Better than nothing. Good luck all.
