Clear at first overnight allowing a sharp frost to develop, but clouded over in the early hours. Cloudy all day, with a little brightness at times in the afternoon, and still very cold. Maximum 0.1, minimum -3.9. Wind light N.

Just missed out on an ice day by about 0.2C. Temps now dropping rapidly so going to be a hard frost tonight.

A cold day, with the sun broke through the fog just after lunch, stayed below freezing all day hovering around -2c. Very icy. 100% snow cover around 5cm

Current Temp -4.1c

Dew Point -5.3c

Wind Chill -4.6c East 2mph

A morning of sunny spells and intermittent thick fog; a few flakes of snow during mid-morning too. The afternoon was dry with sunny periods and a good deal of high cloud.

Clear for a time last night, low cloud and patchy freezing fog spread in to the area after midnight. Low –4.1c before the low cloud. At observation, overcast, light snow, producing a light dusting, mist occasionally thickening enough to qualify as freezing fog. Mean snow depth 1cm, 55%. Remaining bitterly cold all day with a falling temperature and the odd light snow flurry. The maximum temperature to 18:00 only managing –2.5c in a brief brighter spell in the middle of the afternoon, though sat around –3.5c for the most part.

Clear intervals and slight frost last night.

Mainly cloudy and cold today, bright intervals am. Light to moderate SE breeze. Light snow since 1900 this evening not amounting to much though.
