Upgrade for most 6z GFS. Things, to me anyway, seem to be beefing up again this morning after a wobble

Hope so Pal, I'm just on the outskirts of north cheshire (by Manc Airport) so minor upgrades would do for me

Gfs 6z JS beefed up the precipitation to an extent.

However anything light blue I just snizzle if that.

On mobile so can't post charts sorry. The 0z NMM is improved on 18z last night, NAE looks like it's toying with wanting to move things further east and 6z GFS beefs up precip south of River Ribble

That only shows that we are at 100% chance of getting snow....thats always been the case, the downgrade is the amount that we get.

Well I don't know what to make of all this? As a novice trying to interpret the output this morning it just looks as if the main event has shifted west and potentially may move south. Forecasts are still showing significant snow but it looks more like we'll see a covering rather than the blizzard I was probably unrealistically hoping for. At this point are the high res models that most of us don't have access to all important?

met office app has now changed for my area to light snow and the duration of that light snow is saturday night. I am not shocked its a non event that happens all the time, I only ever seen snow when nobody knew or talked about it coming.

Novice or Pro, we are as bamboozled as the next person regarding set ups like this.
