Latest bbc 24 forecast was quite good. Snow moving across all of us late afternoon and expected to get heavier as it does so. Then getting lighter tommorow.

Maybe we'll get an orographic effect from this band as NAE shows? Who knows, but I have to dash.. hopefully I can report some snow via mobile later on!

Sure you are aware of this and it is usually 30 mins out of date, but it does give decent location information if you zoom in. Almost up to Dronfield on the 09:00 update.

Looks like my prediction is going to come true. Very little from the south and any convection struggles to push inland.. :( Really hope something more exciting comes along plz

you should be down here, the sun is poking through the clouds, no sign of any snow now or later

We've done well again overnight with another covering. Slight thaw on roads before more showers headed in and covered us again. Sky gone black and it's starting again!

Temp -0.4C with Dew point of -0.5C.

Looking great for the rest of the day and tomorrow as long as the temp doesn't rise and turn it to rain!
