Cloudy and very cold with light-moderate snow all day, the moderate snow mainly this afternoon. Constant slight blowing snow in the fresh E/SE wind has led to some drifting, the largest I could see by torchlight this evening as I made my way onto the moor were about 50 cm deep. The temperature fell to -4.8c late this afternoon but has since recovered a little.
