Shrimper that ppn chart for sunday looks very good, would you say it's on par with today?

Better. Certainly for the East of the region, compared to today.

Looking further ahead. I am wetting myself and I expect Paul S and the rest of the Thames contingent are, at this wind direction on Sat afternoon, for a good 24 hours...

Just had a little episode of freezing rain here for only 1 minute but defo rain and freezing on contact with car windscreen. Very strange nothing falling now must have been a little bit of convection ahead of the band.

could it be a slight warmth moisture from the thames etc???

Yep that confirms it for me, am North West of Southend and can see that bit of convection that popped up, strange it fell as freezing rain though - Lol

Tom,

Going by the GFS, perhaps we should leave the measuring until Monday?!...

Happy to put that to a vote but have to leave for work soon.

BTW, who's on the videoprinter for latest scores! Lets say 1cm = 2 goals!

Remember, keep in touch with your opponent and post your depth from time to time, if any, and if you can!

No cheating please, I trust you all implicitly!

So any depths around the region, at the mo, in this competition

Enjoy and have a fun day!

Regards,

Tom.

Been snowing here near Petworth on and off since yesterday afternoon....Yesterday it was just spitting a few flakes, not enough to make the ground look any worse than a heavy frost. Must have started for real around 7am as when we looked out the car had a slight covering and by 8am it was snowing properly when I went out to feed the chickens. Very grainy tiny flakes though and managing to get into everything from every direction or so it seemed.

Now heavier and settled enough to make that crunch underfoot when you walk. The chickens very annoyed and not sure if they want to come out for breakfast.unsure.png

Temp here is -0.6 wind from due east Oddly even the wasing whirlygig is turning around with no washing on it, we don't see that very often as it normally never moves.

Dubai Floods: Another Warning Sign for Desert Regions?

The flooding in the Middle East desert city of Dubai earlier in the week followed record-breaking rainfall.
