Starting to snow properly here again - and that radar looks good!!. The snow is still dry both from the sky and on the ground and the frost is holding wellcold.gif

It's bang on that radar! Wasn't expecting this at all. Saw the radar at 6pm and thought we'd get a bit and that was it.

Whoops!!!

Just goes to show what can happen. This system coming up from France is a big bonus and proves what the likes of Steve has said for years - get the cold in place and the snow will come. There will always be surprises at very short notice.

Looks like a good few hours of radar watching coming up.

P.S. If anyone is a fan of Fringe on Sky 1, last ever episodes are being screened in just over an hour. Same time as in the USA, much like they did for Lost.

Sky out east is absolutely full of snow.

Have had 2 Power Bursts of snow in the last 15 minutes that has delivered a proper what I would call covering now and not a dusting.

Getting there slowly but surely!

Come on my son, haha, and yeah I agree the sky is so orange over the water. Coming down steady again here, 20p sized

Centre of low heading toward Medway/S Essex hence the dry slot!

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I would assume that the low moving into London would drag the snow along on it's eastern flank..........or am I talking rubbish?

Its looking good for that pivot - the radar suggests some heavier snow about to arrive than now - and it is snowing quite well already. I think you are especially well placed for this - enjoy!good.gif

Right, this is now an emergency. Who lost the key for the Medway snow shield? Was it Daniel, Halling or has one of those pesky kids from Thanet hidden (because we had snow in 2010 and therefore deserve no more) :-)

At the risk of sounding really boring (and ultra frustrated!) I've never seen anything like it. You could NOT make this up.

Its the centre of the depression!

Just a mile away from the snow on the radar now. It's slowly getting closer my fellow north westerners.

Glad to see Essex are finally getting something from this cold spell.
