-0.4°c here.

The radar shows the snow approaching from the SE but locally it's falling from the NW, looks like it's war !!

Light snow here in Petts Wood/Locksbottom borders, temp -1.Looks like snow till about 6pm but only 2-4cms here, further East you go depths to be 5-8cms.As band moves up East Coast from Humberside right upto East Scotland band will intensify with strong Easterly winds and they will get between 10-15cms lucky buggers so we are missing out a bit down here. However, kust saw "tomasz,I want to name every count in England in 30 secs"and he mentions a system that could hit us tomorrow afternoon/evening.Could be one to watch!!

In the meantime, enjoy the snow today and lets hope it intensifies a bit down here as well

P.S.Not a critiscism of Tomasz as i think it is great he breings specifics to his forecast unlike other presenters!!

P.S.S.In the 3 mins i have taken to write this snow getting heavier!!Come on,Lett's av it!!

Light very fine snow here in Reigate

Dewpoint -4.2c

hPa: 998.2

Lots of twos there - need Richie Benaud to read them out loud!

Great dewpoint! This should help reinvigorate the pistes...

From memory of the fax charts john showed last night. There are 2 bands of snow. This lot moves WNW, the 2nd lot moves more NNW.

A nice snizzle dusting in Southend.

Temp; -0.8c

Dew; -6c

Marginality.....pfffff!

That's good news for Southend. -1.1c here so as you say, no marginality to worry about

Light-moderate snowfall in Ealing settling on all surfaces, no great quantities as yet but appears to be getting heavier.
