The temperatures are finally falling here but only slowly. Currently bang on 2 degrees which is still way too warm for anything other than sleet at the moment

Dew point shoud drop fast bro when it gets heavier

It's very encouraging reading the snow reports further south along the coast at skegness mate. The temp should slowly keep droppinggood.gif

Snowing moderately here in south-east sheffield at long last, decent sized flakes mixed in and being driven along in the strong wind. HAPPY DYYS :-)

Is it sleety in scunny? - feeling paranoid that Brigg has a snow shield up!

MOTO now put the heavy snow back till midnight or scunny. Suppose temps may be cooler if anything.

But extended the heavy snow till midday lol

Do they really know or is it just roll the dice n see what number they get????!!!!!!

Just been out, -0.3C and its very fine, more like sleet but its white, cold and settling so it'll do for now, quite heavy too.

Winds light but a little blustery from East N/East.

Could have used any of the models for this, which all show a very similar picture. The precipitation for (West) Yorkshire was never modelled to hit here until 9ish and even then, not to be particularly heavy. The precipitation is due to pep up and stall overnight, with 1pm Monday still modelled to have heavy snow for most of Yorkshire. Although forecast, i truly believe that this event has been underestimated by the BBC et al good.gif !

It's picking up now, got a darker patch on the radar, flake size increasing, getting heavier and starting to cover the main road
