Ok In the spirit of a little fun I have piled up the snow in the garden ( whats left ) for a competition.

PRIZE: A nominal beer ( or soft drink token ) of £2.50 via PAYPAL.

Rules-

Entry Closes Tomorrow at 07:00 AM.

All you need to post is the date & time ( incase dates clash ) where the snow mound will be gone & replaced by a full cover of grass...

Obviously things to consider-

Its now a plie of hard ice- mound was done Sunday.

Weather till Friday looks like being very cold with somepossible very low overnight minima- cementing it all together.

Milder weather lands at the weekend...

Wheres the snow coming from tonight? Meto have Penistone @ 21:00 Heavy snow..00:00 and 03:00 Light Snow.

No thaw here again, the temps the highest its been since last week at -0.2C The light snow through last night stopped this morning when

the mist rolled down the hills, been under good snow cover now since Friday with snow on the ground since mid week. Kinda hoping for a

bit of thawing in the day to produce some good icicles but i keep looking out the window at exactly the same view, the snows going nowhere.

By the way Steve remember 1987 when even snow from the drifts were still evident going into April, aahh! those were the days! (excuse the pun).
