I still maintain that the period between roughly 7pm through to 8pm onwards, will be the time for proper SNOW and this is when the SNOW will start settling more readily.

The A3 Between Petersfield and Horndean is very dangerous with lying snow and Ice. Take car if you're going up there. I just been caught there for the past hour!

My concern is that the precip is coming through fast and by the time it's cold enough to settle won't be much left falling? Moderate snow here atm, driving through butser was very snowy road going white!

High where are you in Bognor? I am half a mile from the sea and it is still 1.5C here but I did notice this morning that it is noticeably colder on the outskirts of the town.

In the town (5 mins walk from town centre). my thermometer is in my garden but may not be correct. Temp went down to 0.8c a few mins ago but back up to 1c as I type.
