Yesterday: partly cloudy and windy with showers in the morning, then dry in the afternoon. Rain moved in after 10pm. Maximum 10.4, minimum 5.6. Wind fresh SW.

A short spell of light rain earlier this morning, clearing by 0800. Currently dry with the sun attempting to poke through a layer of As tp the south and south east.

Turning cloudy overnight with light rain commencing through the early hours. The rain cleared around dawn. The morning so far has been damp with the thicker cloud slowly moving away leaving a layer of high thinner cloud allowing some watery sunshine.

Mild temperature wise, though again not feeling it in the wind.

A few snow drifts remaining and a few undrifted patches of snow in areas sheltered from the west.

It`s been a very fast thaw(one of the quickest I`ve seen) due to the strong/gales last 4/5 days.

Wind really has thawed the drifts exposed in the wind,out of the wind is the place to be for snow sheltered.

Still some drifts left here sheltered.
