A little while ago Gary said something about showers and nakedness...instead of the 'naked chef' are you simply the naked plumber of Naaaarfuk?

From Ian Fergusson:

"No. High res no panacea: can actually exacerbate inaccurate solution. For example, UKMO-GM and MOGREPS-R output bears little resemblance to 12z NAE re snow distribution and amounts in central-southern England. Hence awaiting 18z with interest".

Ian is correct to a certain point. The MetO's scientist Bods take both sides and evaluate and produce their 'human touch' Fax Charts. Surprised Ian does not mention this.

JP will no doubt supply very good Fax Charts later tonight.

No point gritting yet, the rain beforehand will wash it away... Haha 26 hours gritting, that in itself would bring the roads to a standstill :-)

Yep even a leaf or flurry and everything stops

After reading a few posts with temps dropping etc, I just want to put your minds at rest that nothing is expected apart from maybe stars.

Netweather Troll 24x7. LOL

I noticed a post by you a few days ago which appeared to be of a similar nature but ignored it. If you have a problem with me could you use the private message facility on here as I'm pretty sure we could discuss whatever issues you have without involving the rest of the forum.

I love it on here when there is a chance of snow. It brings out the childish excitement that used to happen around Christmas and birthday times. The banter is second to now also. :-)

Not sure about that, with the way the temps here seem to be droping any rain here will be snow first, guess they expect the temps to rise before the front comes.

Correct about grit get's washed away when it rains. It's going to be a nightmare to start with tomorrow as the rain will eventually turn to snow, so the gritting will have to be in advance to a certain degree.

Your the expert mate. This must be as bad for gritters as it is for the weather forecasters. One false move and everything is either washed away or not needed!
