Just looked at the radar- SE essex- getting caned as the PPN runs over the Thames it keeps holding intensity on those green echoes!

could be some 4-5cms soon

Settling now..... If it could be heavier itd be settling everywhere, just on shed/ cars etc...... Proper flakes but temp dropping again was 1c an hour ago 0.2c dew -1c ...... I would say icy sums it up...... Its like someones throwing crushed ice.....

as mentioned else where still snowing in braintree has been for maybe 3 hours now really quite fine wet stuff

but decentish intensity laying on roads even though they were huge puddles paths roads grass ect but we would need several more hours

for a decent amount if it stays this fine stuff.

how ever a few weeks ago on the sunday we missed the main even but ended up with a lovely little

unexpected bonus coming over the channel and setting a little streamer (im thinking that what it was but wasnt here to find out)

anyway does that look possible at all tonight?

Temp 0.6C dp - 0.5 ESE 4.5mph gusting 14 mph. Steady light to medium snow,covering grass and decking.

Well the lights have gone out on the radar in a big thick wedge from NW kent all the way across to Surrey apart from a small blob over SW london-

there will be nowt falling in the next half hour- some big echoes right over the South- but not making it much further north.

Even the PPN into South essex is edging out North.

Also thicknesses increasing again, the stall line may well be central essex etc.

Game over here.

Tenterden had about 1cm of snow, even lying on the roads. Come back through Rolvenden slightly less snow here, roads still covered. Start going down the hill and nothing.. all the way back home
