There are times when the area can get quite a lot of snow with the right set up. The elusive (this winter) snow shower NE'erly is very reliable. A few miles further to the east of there where I am it was snowing lighly for about half an hour. Just recently stopped

Hi Tamara,

Should imagine you need somewhere between a NE and NNE flow. That's been my main gripe about this winter so far, the lack of a true convective flow between N & E, obv. prefer an ENE where I am but still take great delight viewing radar returns and members enjoyment whatever the flow turns out to be!
