Hmm what could it be, designer wet weather gear? ph34r.png bit risky if we have another drought! Weather forecaster? fool.gif far too many of them around already LOL, personalised snow globe - snow everyday of the year - could be popular on here!cold.gif - manufacturing costs a bit high though.

Due to lack of funds I won't be investing with you today, so I'm out!.

Seriously though best of luck with it, sounds like a solid start, there's nothing quite like being your own boss!smile.png

Haha when I was 16 I took £18,000 net profit in 3 weeks, but I had to stop due to college :( I had to employ my mum and brother to help with the 1000 plus orders lol!

That front in the north sea coming over us tonight/tomorrow, will that be rain?

I think it will be rain, if we see anything at all, although that is the cold front that brings in the colder air, the cold uppers don't arrive until Thursday.

From Ian F on MAD thread

"Just been examining a selection of f'cast profiles for later Friday coupled to the UK4-extended snow accumulation prognosis. Bearing in mind the low dewpoints by then, plus the fairly skinny CuSc tops up around -11C, the light snow signal can be assumed to be (a) reasonably prevalent despite the strong capping and likely to settle irrespective of small amounts falling. Effectively anywhere along the E coast prone to a cm or so, stretching inland along favoured topographic strips even across to Cotswolds; S of London down into W Sussex etc., with more widespread likelihood of flurries offering 1cm (in places perhaps 2)across E Yorks, Hull area, Lincs, Norfolk down across Cambs to Beds. Given good set-up for an English Channel shower band before the flow backs, by the end of Friday some snow likely even far away to high ground in the extreme SW, e.g., over Dartmoor."

Just wondering..... if it snows lightly for a few days over the end of the week, is it cold enough to settle and accumulate?

Hi Stevie I like the way you are asking " if "....learning now ..how not to start a mass of different replies....I would wait for JP's updates although he will be the first to say ppn amounts and locations are almost down to nowcasting, but the temps should be cold.

PPVK89.gif?31415

updated fax for friday

has 528 dam air over us

a cold easterly flow

note the trough added to our east

this may be able to drag some showers in towards us

as blackprince says

snowfall amounts etc are difficult to pinpoint at present

however conditions look fine to me we just need the precipitation

PPVO89.gif?31415

sunday looks a very cold day as well

see the trough to our south west

that is the one that runs through here on saturdays fax

very cold north east wind

reckon 0-1 degrees and a biting windchill

would not rule out some snow showers being blown in from the north sea

i will point out at present it looks dry

more later on this drinks.gif

I reckon we might get 4 or 5 inches by the end of the weekend, looks like a good 36hrs of light to moderate snow showers over Sat/Sunday
