    There is shower activity by the looks of it from the Humber down to the Wash, note how far inland these are going. Widespread Shower activity likely for central England of this windflow. Also the front band over East Anglia is slowly moving Southwards, should be moving into North Kent very soon. A few specs of precipitation appearing on the Suffolk coastline now.

    Driving back from a chilly walk earlier the temperature dropped from 4 to 3 and then there was a sudden flurry of large white pieces blowing past on a strong north easterly wind. I was quite excited until I realised it was blossom!doh.gif

    Something to add to the Murr snow scale that applies only in March.....

    Anyone else feeling like 20-30 years have been wiped off their age with all the excitement of the incomming weather?

    Currently at about 24 y/o,but expecting that to drop when i wake up in the morning and take that 1st peek out the window! rofl.gif

    Getting greyer and darker here. Just drizzle in the wind atm with those freezing dewpoints not quite here yet

    this is weird sitting here in t-shirt and shorts in some amazing spring weather here in SW France, watching the build up to this event, I am due back into Gatwick at 11:00 tomorrow and I am wondering if I am going to have problems or not.

      It's been a wet March for much of the UK, with well above average rainfall, though the Northern & Western Isles have been drier than average.
