Like the look of the idea of this stuff coming in of the N Sea. Hopefully its got enough push to get inland

Start work at 2am this morning, going from Waltham Abby to Reigate, Gatwick, then to Crawley should be finished around 7am, will I get hit by the snow!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Steve, how do you think we will fair in Southend ? Could we be too far East to enjoy the best of the overnight synoptics ?

I think we need see the final angle of the wind-

But we are both in the same boat NW kent & South essex need a direct easterly!

Stansted currently reporting 0c dew point, 1c 2m temp and 22km/h NE wind giving -4c windchill

Amend that - STN just registering 0c air temp.

To, tweak or not to tweak? All eyes on directionals, off the east coast. Also the now closely watched Channel LPS its the track east rather than north that will be key...

Herts Council said they will be out gritting from 5pm. I take this as quite a positive and seems to tie in well to Murr time.

I been away from nw all morning with the mums.so what's the score people?is it the channel low we looking at still or the blob for any hope?as far as I was aware the stuff out to the west will just drop into France,is this still right?or are we just reliant on some sort of north sea streamer here?
