morning all feels even colder out there this morn, no snow at all here and don't think Wales is going to get hardly anything as reguards to snow over the next few days but it sure is cold and the wind was very strong last night. all my bins etc blown all over the place this morn.

IT's SNOWINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

those showers coming from the north east will keep blowing in today on a very raw heavy fast wind - you watch

the rest of March has some great potential too by the looks of the models - winter will hold it's grip on us for sometime yet

Slight, patchy dusting overnight. Less than 50% cover. Feels pretty raw out, -2.1c currently and a cold wind. Brrrr.

Snowing quite moderately in the Amman Valley from family reports, a good covering everywhere, radar also confirms a good bout of precipitation over the area.

Even though it's a week away snow is progged for all of Wales - and loads of it too - this cold weather ain't gonna let up - and then over the snow fields the temps will drop even further to -10 or so - so this could well be one of the coldest March's we've ever known - just watch this space - winter has far from left our shores and is developing nicely! - now then where were those plans again for my ski resort - Ah Yes!

A few light flurries this morning in Ystrad Mynach. Absolutely bitter outside and windchill wise, the coldest of this winter/spring season

Came down andy one set of runs and your off like a whippet :p. The Amman Valley and parts of the Swansea Valley have gone unoticed this morning constant light snow then moderate to heavy now light since half 7 this morning, they've had about 2inch on the upslopes of the Amman Valley according to family, just a dusting the lower down you go though - ammanford way.

nothing here at the mo - just a bitingly cold wind and flurries in the air occasionally - I've got my eye on better snow ops over the coming 7 days or so

I know it's the 6z which is one of the most unreliable but the models are generally trending for cold over the coming two weeks - good chances for snow will come up soon now I think - we haven't seen the last of this weather just yet

edit - and as I speak a heavy shower of SNOWWWWWWWWWWWWW kicks in yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

looking on radar their's loads more to come - what a day - but I am flippin freezing!

sun is aiding convection now over the north sea - lake effect snow and when it gets to wales after it's long journey the mountains re-invigorate the snow showers again - so we are well placed to get quite a bit of snow today - the wind helps to blow the showers well inland too - quickly

dark skies and more snow coming down now - and that wind is bitingly driving it around in swirls!

Quite a few snow showers this morning here a dusting on most surfaces now, temp drops heavily in showers but rises dramatically when the sun comes out, got up to 0.1c a few minutes ago so no ice day for me. -0.3c currently but has been dropping to about -2c during showers.

Just let the doggies out the back - flipping eck - our back takes the brunt of the easterlies - it's like Siberia out there - and the snow is whipping up all over - if it really gets going - won't take much for it to start piling up

Considering it was East Wales mainly meant to see these Showers - Mid and West Wales seems to be doing fantastic yet here in Cardiff only the lightest of flakes blowing in the wind now and again, and looking at the radar I doubt that will change.

A fair rash of snow showers over the UK now, the stronger March sunshine aiding convection through the afternoon, however not many places reporting more than a dusting.

The power of the sun shown by the temperature now up above 2c in a good sunny spell, with -12c uppers in January it would be well below zero.

Quite bright and sunny in Cardiff, no snow yet, would be a nice day if it wasn't for the wind.
