Am i missing something with it? laugh.png

It isn't reflecting all the precip in the supposed coverage area across parts of southern England, have a look ..

It's good for the channel islands but not very good for here.

You have around "2 of lying snow?

I have 3cm-4cm lying on my shed roof at the moment, but there has been slight thawing too (and I think it started as rain in the night) so I'd have thought 5mm of precipitation at the very least.

absolutely bone dry here, although pretty much as expected.....A few light snow showers to the north and north east of here, but they're fizzling out before they reach here

That's not bad but it doesn't dismiss the fact that the NAE shifted it all south and projected the best chances of snow in the South East, the experts wanted to bin the NAE and quite a few of us did, it turned out to be closer than the GFS, NMM and ECM.

Blimey o'reilly that radar has pepped up over the last couple of hours. shok.gif Widespread showers UK wide away from the main precipitation band which should drift slowly Eastwards as the day wears on.

HI gototlove u think we shall see anything in berkshire this evenig or are we on the fine line ?

Massive snowfall here in Guernsey. Inland has got 8-9 inches. Cars stranded everywhere just taken an hour to drive 4 miles. Proper blizzard.

The cloud is now thickening, having had bright sunshine this morning, and there are increasing numbers of snow grains on the breeze.

EDIT: there are now some bigger flakes as well occasionally

Snow shower just started here.

Looks like the first of many showers I should see over the next few hours going by the radar to the north east.

When we are in the midst of our Summer heat with expectations of overnight Thunderstorm, All this cold weather will be distant memory

Current temp 1.6c, wind 15mph SSE, humidity 48% and pressure 1008. We were close to something special on the mainland but alas it wasn't to be, nice to see the channel islands getting in on the action though.

That's great news, but I'm far more surprised that anyone even tried to drive in Guernsey today! Hope you get a load more too!

Temp been hovering around 1c. Small flakes blowing around on the wind on and off for the last couple of hours. Humidity is only 51% so the air is very dry.

Most of the snow 'dusting' from earlier has nearly all gone here, all off the roofs & most off the cars on the street too, just as shame that despite a decent amount of snowfall we have very little to show for it. Though it is still snowing lightly with a temperature of 0.5C which is a drop of 0.6C in around an hour! Dew point is -0.5C.
