It has taken until 3pm, but finally the streamer is aligned nicely for my area. Here's hoping the alignment lasts for a few hours.

Went for a 'snowchase' earlier up to Biggin Hill, where there was a few cms laying.

Passing the exposed end of the runway at Biggin Hill Airport, snow was drifting across the main road, albeit from small accumulations on the ground.

Very little accumulations back here in lowland south London.

Seen some lovely short sharp bursts today one made visibility very poor on the roads - amazes me how people still drive with no lights on was very difficult to make out white or silver cars!!! But nothing major laying on ground in fact my decking is all clear again right now!!! Just had a message to say due to staff shortages I will be working outside in the cold open side warehouse tonight so think of me whilst your lamppost watching this evening in the warm lol

Its à nice squeeze developing, the LPS although now showing signs of à more direct east track, Its creating à good vortex, allowing convective development,could get à classic streamer type evo, going soon...

Dusting here. Had a reasonably heavy snow shower at 2:15pm, lasted 10 minutes, 20p sized flakes for a few moments and visibility dropped too about 100m.
