Flash Bar Stores webcam showed a covering last night but all gone now whilst still a good cover round the corner at Cat & Fiddle.

From other webcams some can be seen in the distance from the HSL site in Buxton and above the M62 near Blackstone Edge whilst currently snow spreading northwards through parts of the east Midlands. Most substantial falling snow currently appears to be in the Scottish southern uplands.

A cloudy morning with intermittent light snow which never amounted to anything. The sleet and snow died out early in the afternoon and there were sunny intervals by mid afternoon. This morning's thin snow cover melted by mid-morning leaving only the old drifts under the walls.
