All this morning's lying snow has thawed, as much due to residual heat in the unfrozen ground rather as the air temperature.

The current air temp' is 0.8c and the soil temperature at 0900 today was 1.3c at 5cm and 1.9 cm at 10 cm.

Currently overcast with brief showers of snow grains and snow flakes.
