15cm+ im thinking. Our area looks great for once. My only worry is the ground temps.

Bloody hell this is turning into a potentially huge event. I am trying not to get too excited but the latest BBC forecast have large parts of the Midlands under snow from around 4-5am tomorrow until the end of Saturday! Due to drive to Scotland on Sunday. Hmmm.

Anyone able to post some charts showing the wind strength. For me 10cm which id settle for is ok but 10cm with huge drifts would be far better. some of the pics from the south east thread when they had snow earlier in the month showed drifts over a meter deep despite only 10cms roughly level snow.

The precip has just reached here and it's sleeting a bit. Will probably turn all to rain soon though.

Some wet flakes mixed in.

They have not updated yet. If you look the snow warnings are dated yesterday.

Dated 21 march 11:06 but Saturdays hasn't

Although i think this cold weather this far into spring is becoming quite tedious, this does have the potential to be quite a memorable snow event, so i'm back to being a snow freak/lampost observer for one more night. good.gif
