we're just about out of the warnings here, shows how much difference a few miles can make!

For tomorrow, yes - but not Saturday. I think we'll see some sleet at times tonight and tomorrow, before it turns steadily to snow tomorrow night - and continue as such until Sunday :)

From 9pm tonight, that's when they have the precip starting here, and it's supposed to be snow.

Here sleet from 9pm heavy snow from midnight..... kind regards from the METO.

From a Solihull perspective, I'm concentrating more on Friday night onwards - anything tomorrow morning is a bonus.

We will do ok we just need to hope we don't see snow turning back to rain tommorow before back to snow again. If we can stay as snow from Friday morning onwards we should get 10cms. Maybe 15

Optimism! this looks better than that january event, and that brought 10cm. If everything goes perfect and a shed load of luck, maybe 20cm locally...15cm more comonally.

Of course, 10cm more likely. But trying to be optimistic :)

Il be happy with 10cms. I'm just hoping we get really strong winds so we have meter deep snow drifts in places

I agree snow from midnight into the morning rush hour then it will slow down maybe even stop tomorrow,

But then like you said "friday night onwards" very heavy snow from 18:00 till sat lunchtime maybe.

I think going by the models 10cms is minimum at the moment!!

Should the weather front slow down once it reaches the colder air?

Should think so,The whole lot will be very slow moving thats why it will last a few days,

also that sizeable amount over northwest france is the one to watch for later tomorrow.

Well good luck to you all with this event. Hope there arent too many disappointed ones. Looks like home is going to cop it well. Has been a fantastic winter for Stourbridge especially if tomorrow comes off. Back next week but meanwhile down sarf its pelting it with rain and a balmy 11c due tomorrow. Beat that. blum.gif
